Bernie Champoux's First Contact
For many days after Bernie's death I tried to contact him. I did make contact with Father Andy who said that Bernie had passed but was still adjusting. I think the adjustment period varies for each person based on what they have to deal with and how developed spiritually they are. After about three days I also made contact with his sister Julie who said he was doing well but that he was not ready to talk. She said his mother and father were also there helping him make his transition. Then one day about a week after his death Holly woke up one morning and said she had a song in her head. This is how she often receives intuitive messages. She said the song was "Can I have this dance." This was Bernie and Fay's song and a group of us had sung it to him around his hospital bed the day he died. As soon as she said this I had the most intense psychic experience yet. I was surrounded by bright light and then suddenly I saw Bernie's face and he said "Hello Al". I grabbed my computer and started to type his message. This is what he had to say:
"Hi Al (Big Smile)
I am doing good. What a relief.
(Fay)- I love you. You are an amazing women. What you did for me at the end was unbelievable. Please don’t worry about me I am in good hands. (Father Andy and family) I have so many things I want to say sorry for because i never told you when I should have but I wil do that at a later time. Please don’t worry everything is going to be fine. You are an angel. Love you. I will see you in your dreams.
(Holly)- Goes and gives her a big hug. I love you my dear girl. You are so smart and so caring. Thank you for everything. I know things are hard right now and I am sorry that I was a part of ti. I will come to you in songs. Ones I know. Thank you for singing at the end it allowed me to make the final step. I will talk to you more later. I love you and I have always been so proud of you.
(Kelly) – I love you so much. Thank you for all your visits in the past year. I know it wasn’t always easy. I am so proud of how you have kept our family tradition alive. (Dinners, Christmas, Birthdays) Maybe you could all work on your singing for the birthday song. Give all my grandkids a big hug. I love you. I will come to you in the form of animals.
(Al, Richard, Paul) - Thanks for treating my girls so fine and for loving them. You were all great son laws. I admire you all in different ways. Thank you.
(Darren) – I love you son. I never could find a way to let you know this. Please don’t feel bad about my passing as I am in a much better place. Please don’t feel guilty about anything. I love you and I am proud of you. I will come to you in your dreams. (More later)
(Jeri) - My little girl. (Smiles) You are so special to me. You make me so happy. Thank you for being there at the end. Please don’t worry. Things will work out. Know that I am with you all the time. I will look out for you. When you feel a slight breeze against your cheek, that is me telling you that I love you.
(Evie)- I love you like a sister. I know things are hard right now but let people help you. I will be watching over you both.
(Harry)- Thank you for being such a great brother. Even though we didn’t always see I to eye, I really care about you. Thank you for being there on the last day. I will be there for you.
Take care everyone, I am doing well but I have much work to do. I love you all."
